WHO WE ARE
Flag City Classics, Inc. is a not for profit classic car club located in the Findlay, Ohio area. A club oriented toward the family. Started in 1979 as a Classic Chevy Club we have since opened the ranks to all makes and models of classics and collector vehicles. The club incorporated in 1999 and gained non-profit status with the state and federal government.
Our current membership is made up of about 30 families that enjoy meetings, car shows, cruises and parades. We are a member of the local county adopt-a-highway program .
We are preparing to enter our 5th year with our Classic Memory show on June 19, 2010. The first 4 years were good even with some bad weather prior to show dates. The poor economy did not seem to hurt the car show circuit too much in 2009 and we were grateful for all the people that came out to support our cause of raising money for local charities. Over the years of Cruise Night and Classic Memories we have been able to donate close to $190,000 to our charities so they can in turn help the less fortunate in our area. This coming show for 2010 we will also be hosting a regional event for the Fairlane Club of America. This will be our first attempt at hosting two shows in one and we look forward to working with the Fairlanes. Our event location at Owens Community College in Findlay, Ohio is really a prime location for a car show and we thank Owens for allowing Flag City Classics to use their site again in 2010.
We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Happy cruisin in the coming year and keep the rubber side down.
